When I was a freshmen in college, I received an email from the admissions team at St. Bonaventure asking if I wanted to be part of a new program that would help promote our social media accounts to reach perspective students. During the first meeting, we brainstormed ideas on what we could use to relate to the younger demographic. We joked about creating a mascot that could capture the everyday life of a Bonaventure student through the use of Snapchat. The next week, the Bona Wolf was born.
Throughout my four years at Bonaventure, I developed countless campaigns ranging from hashtag utilization to planning the Bona Wolf’s birthday parties. One of our most successful campaigns was #AskABonnie, which allowed multiple students to answer questions that perspective students wanted to know about our school.
